The Sharp Set Large contains 8 pairs of needletips, each in a different size: 5.5 mm (US 9), 6.0 mm (US 10), 6.5 mm (US 10.5), 7.0 mm (US 10.75), 7.5 mm (US 10.88), 8.0 mm (US 11), 9.0 mm (US 13), and 10.0 mm (US 15). Also contained are 4 cables, each in a different length: 46 cm (18 in), 66 cm (26 in), 86 cm (34 in), 106 cm (42 in). Note that this length includes the detachable needles.

The needletips are made of steel, and the needles and cables both feature the same excellent qualities that normally distinguish non-interchangable circular needles. When connected properly, the transition between cable and needle is imperceptible to the touch. The flexible cable, made of synthetic plastic, can rotate within the connector piece, which prevents twisting while knitting (Please note that because of this rotataing feature, some yarns might have a tendency to get caught in the cable connector).

The set can be combined and extended with other short or normal length needletips and cables.
