The length mentioned is the actual cable length without needle tips!

ChiaoGoo offers cables with small [S], large [L] and mini [M] diameters.
M cables are used for needle tips 1,5 mm (US 0000) to 2,5 mm (US 1.5),
S cables for needle tips 2,75 mm (US 2) to 5 mm (US 8)
and L cables for needle tip sizes 5,5 mm (US 9) and above.
